Pasta Red Sauce Recipe

Ok, after a few months of trying different things, I think I finally got a great sauce tonight...yea!

chop up any or all of the following veggies:
onion, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini...anything you like (the smaller the better b/c the kids don't realize they are eating veggies:)
1/2-1 c. ground beef (just for flavor)
saute in 1/2 cube butter and 3 T. olive oil
then add 2 cloves garlic, little bit of parsley, basil and any other italian seasonings you like
1 small can tomato sauce
1 can stewed tomatoes, quickly pured in blender
Simmer with lid on
Just before serving stir in 1/2 cup or so of shredded parmesan cheese

It had a great flavor, we loved it!
